USFWS determine endangered species status under the ESA, for three butterflies endemic to Brazil: the Fluminense swallowtail (Parides ascanius), Harris' mimic swallowtail (Eurytides (=Mimoides) lysithous harrisianus), and Hahnel's Amazonian swallowtail (Parides hahneli). This rule extends the Act's protections to these species. This rule is effective 9 January 2025.
