USFWS proposes to list the Suckley's cuckoo bumble bee (Bombus suckleyi), an invertebrate species from North America, as an endangered species under the ESA. This determination also serves as their 12-month finding on a petition to list the Suckley's cuckoo bumble bee. After a review of the best available scientific and commercial information, they find that listing the species is warranted. Accordingly, they propose to list the species as an endangered species under the Act. If finalized this rule would add this species to the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and extend the Act's protections to the species. Due to the current lack of data sufficient to perform required analyses, they conclude that the designation of critical habitat for the species is not determinable at this time. They will accept comments received or postmarked on or before 18 February 2025.
